Citroen showcases C1 and C4 CACTUS in Geneva

Citroën introduced its brand new C1 at the Geneva Auto Salon along side the interesting study C4 CACTUS.

New Citroën C1 is available in three and five-door versions, as a hatchback or a soft-top vehicle with Airscape.

It will be available in eight exterior colours (Caldéra Black, Gallium Grey, Carlinite Grey, Olive Brown, Lipizan White, Smalt Blue, Scarlet Red and Sunrise Red) and can also be personalised with bi-tone colour options.

The New Citroën C1 will be available with a choice of two latest-generation petrol engines: The e-VTi 68 Airdream engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox and featuring Stop&Start technology and the new VTi 82 from the PureTech engine family.

In the C4 CACTUS, Citroën has adopted an original approach: adopt technological innovations reflecting decisive choices in design, comfort, convenience and running costs.

For example the Airbump, an innovation by Citroen is useful, attractive and customisable, this graphic feature enhances vehicle design while protecting the bodywork. By combining an optimised platform with efficient latest-generation engines, Citroen has been able to reduce the weight of its new vehicle by 200 kg compared with a Citroen C4. Result: driveability and low fuel consumption (just 82g of CO2/km or 3.1l/100 km for the diesel version and less than 100g of CO2/km for the petrol version).
