American drivers looking for glory on 4th of July weekend!

USA flag at Indianapolis

The Verizon IndyCar Series is taking on the Pocono tri-oval raceway this weekend.

And for a group of home-grown stars who represent the American red, white and blue in the most diverse series in motorsports, racing in Pennsylvania not far from Philadelphia on the 4th of July weekend, has a special meaning.

Reigning Indianapolis 500 champion Ryan Hunter-Reay, race winners Marco Andretti, Ed Carpenter, Charlie Kimball and Graham Rahal and rising star Josef Newgarden all worked their way up the American open-wheel ladder to reach the Verizon IndyCar Series. Can one of them win on Independence Day weekend?

They all agree that a win at Pocono would be an unforgettable experience on this very special holiday weekend in the United States.
