Romeo Ferraris lands in Japan!

At the recent “Tokyo Auto Salon” Romeo Ferraris announced the opening of Romeo Ferraris Japan, which will market the Romeo Ferraris products in the Land of the Rising Sun in collaboration with Rosso Cars Ltd.

The opening in Japan joins the racing activities developed in China since 2011, that last year led the Romeo Ferraris team to victory in the prestigious Pan Delta Championship, with five wins out of six races.

This agreement is part of the international growth strategy of our company – said Dario Calzavara , CEO of Romeo Ferraris – in which the Japanese market is of fundamental importance. We are going to export our Fiat 500 “Cinquone ” cars by Romeo Ferraris, 210 hp and Euro 5 compliant, the carbon fibre parts by Romeo Ferraris and mechanical components for other cars too. The professionalism and passion of Rosso Cars Ltd are, moreover, a guarantee of success. We believe that the announcement made by Sergio Marchionne regarding the agreement Fiat Chrysler – continues Calzavara – has restored great credibility to all Italian industries, large and small, and it’s another reason to be optimistic about what will happen in 2014. For Italian carmakers the new year offers, especially in Asian countries, enormous opportunities to erode market shares, in first place to the German and Korean manufacturers .”

In the three days of opening (11/13 January) the “Tokyo Auto Salon ” has recorded a turnout of nearly one million visitors from all over Japan, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Mongolia and Malaysia. Finally, it must be stressed that, if the “Made in Italy” banner was waved thanks to Romeo Ferraris, the Japanese gathering saw more than 400 exhibitors (including Toyota, Subaru, Honda, Nissan, Suzuki, Daihatsu, Mercedes and all the major German “tuners”) showcasing the best components and tuning in the world.
